| Hotel | Offer | Bookable until |
|---|---|---|
| InterContinental Miramar Panama | Fourth night free | December 28, 2026 |
Ten of our twelve properties sit in Panama City. The other two are therefore easy to miss – and one of them answers a question people often ask about Panama.
Waldorf Astoria Panama · Panama CityAt around 1,168 € a night, the Nayara Bocas del Toro is the most expensive property in our Panamanian portfolio, and by a wide margin: it costs more than three times as much as the second most expensive, the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo (around 358 €). It sits in the Bocas del Toro archipelago in the north-west and is Panama's only Leaders Club property.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThe second property outside the capital is the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón (from around 182 €, World of Hyatt), in the highlands.
One search note we state openly: in our hotel data the Nayara Bocas del Toro carries simply “Panama” as its place entry – the country name rather than the archipelago. Searching by place will therefore not readily find it. So we name it here.
And one finding applies to the whole country: all twelve properties belong to a points programme. Panama has no unaffiliated group at all – rare among our destinations.
suitespot rates are full direct rates: the benefits come on top of the regular rate.
We order them by price, because location separates little in Panama: ten of the twelve sit in the same city anyway.
The Nayara Bocas del Toro (from around 1,168 €, Leaders Club) in the Bocas del Toro archipelago and the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón (from around 182 €, World of Hyatt) in the highlands.
Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo · Panama CityMore than sixfold separates these two – the largest price gap our Panamanian portfolio holds.
The Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo (from around 358 €, ALL (Accor)), the Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo (from around 269 €, World of Hyatt) and the JW Marriott Panama (from around 214 €, Marriott Bonvoy).
The Waldorf Astoria Panama (from around 203 €, Hilton Honors), the W Panama (from around 203 €, Marriott Bonvoy), the The Buenaventura Resort Panama (from around 200 €, Marriott Bonvoy), the InterContinental Miramar Panama (from around 195 €, IHG One Rewards) and the The Santa Maria Resort Panama City (from around 192 €, Marriott Bonvoy).
Five properties within eleven euros – here price decides nothing; the programme and the credit do.
The Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá (from around 175 €, World of Hyatt) and the Marriott Hotel Panama (from around 148 €, Marriott Bonvoy) – the lowest entry in the country.
Entry rates run from around 148 € at the Marriott Hotel Panama to around 1,168 € at the Nayara Bocas del Toro. The middle of the field sits at around 202 €.
Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo · Panama CityWithout the top property Panama would be a very narrow field: the other eleven sit between around 148 € and around 358 €, a factor of 2.4. Eight of them sit between around 175 € and around 214 €.
For your choice that means: in Panama price decides almost nothing – except at the very top. The real differences lie in the programme and the credit.
We hold an entry rate for all twelve properties.
All twelve properties belong to a points programme, across six of them:
Marriott Bonvoy with five (JW Marriott Panama, W Panama, The Buenaventura Resort Panama, The Santa Maria Resort Panama City, Marriott Hotel Panama), World of Hyatt with three (Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo, Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón, Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá), plus ALL (Accor) (Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo), Hilton Honors (Waldorf Astoria Panama), IHG One Rewards (InterContinental Miramar Panama) and the Leaders Club (Nayara Bocas del Toro) with one each.
Hotel credits look different: only seven of the twelve carry one, consistently 100 USD. The Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo is the only one with two credits: 100 USD plus a further 100 USD for food and drink.
And the five without a credit are not randomly spread: four of them belong to Marriott Bonvoy – the JW Marriott Panama, the Marriott Hotel Panama, the The Buenaventura Resort Panama and the W Panama. Of Panama's five Bonvoy properties, only the The Santa Maria Resort Panama City comes with one. The fifth property without a credit is the Nayara Bocas del Toro.
A room upgrade comes with all twelve properties – at the three World of Hyatt properties it is recorded at booking, at the other nine on arrival.
One condition we pass on verbatim: at the Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá, alongside late check-out, an early check-in subject to availability is expressly recorded.
Complimentary internet comes with eleven of the twelve, a welcome gift with nine of the twelve.
In our room data, 44 of the 186 categories are expressly recorded as suites, 69 as rooms and 73 are not typed at all. The 44 are therefore the floor.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThe data is missing at precisely the country's most expensive property, and we would rather say so than gloss over it: for the Nayara Bocas del Toro only two categories are recorded, both without a type, at 85 to 102 m². We cannot make a suite statement for that property.
Four properties, by contrast, are fully typed, so their figures hold: the JW Marriott Panama lists ten suites of 21 categories – the highest count in the country –, the Waldorf Astoria Panama five of eight, the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón four of nine and the Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá four of 16.
At three properties the typing is almost entirely absent: the W Panama (23 of 25 categories untyped), the Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo (19 of 29) and the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo (ten of 18). There the data is missing, not the suites.
Only two properties carry room sizes: the InterContinental Miramar Panama at 30 to 226 m² and the Nayara Bocas del Toro at 85 to 102 m². For the other ten we give none, because we hold none.
On minimum stays we distinguish three cases.
Seven properties expressly record none.
One property asks for two nights, the Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo – and there the booking field confirms the same figure.
At one more the two nights appear only in the booking field, the Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá.
And for three properties nothing is recorded at all – the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, the InterContinental Miramar Panama and the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón. That is different from an express “no minimum stay”, and we do not present it as one: we confirm the condition for your travel dates.
For anniversaries, wedding nights or simply more space: these properties in Panama offer their own suite categories. Our travel advisors know them in detail and will put together the right category for your occasion.

The Nayara Bocas del Toro, from around 1,168 € a night – and it is not in the capital but in the Bocas del Toro archipelago in the north-west.
The gap is wide: it costs more than three times as much as the second most expensive property, the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo (around 358 €).
It is also Panama's only Leaders Club property. For its rooms, however, we hold just two categories, both without a type – so we cannot make a suite statement for it.
Entry rates across our twelve properties run from around 148 € at the Marriott Hotel Panama to around 1,168 € at the Nayara Bocas del Toro a night. The middle of the field sits at around 202 €.
Without the top property the field is very narrow: the other eleven sit between around 148 € and around 358 €, eight of them between around 175 € and around 214 €.
We hold a price for all twelve properties.
Two of twelve – and they are easy to miss, because ten properties sit in Panama City.
The Nayara Bocas del Toro (from around 1,168 €, Leaders Club) is in the Bocas del Toro archipelago and is the most expensive property in the country.
The Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón (from around 182 €, World of Hyatt) sits in the highlands.
A data note: in our hotel data the Nayara Bocas del Toro carries the country name “Panama” as its place entry rather than the archipelago – searching by place makes it hard to find.
At all twelve properties – Panama is one of the few destinations of ours with no unaffiliated group at all.
Marriott Bonvoy holds five properties, World of Hyatt three, plus one each at ALL (Accor), Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards and the Leaders Club.
That does not come with a hotel credit, though: only seven of the twelve carry one – see the next question.
At seven of the twelve properties, consistently 100 USD. The Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo is the only one with two credits: 100 USD plus a further 100 USD for food and drink.
The five without are not randomly spread: four belong to Marriott Bonvoy – the JW Marriott Panama, the Marriott Hotel Panama, the The Buenaventura Resort Panama and the W Panama. Of the five Bonvoy properties only the The Santa Maria Resort Panama City comes with one.
The fifth without a credit is, of all properties, the country's most expensive: the Nayara Bocas del Toro.
We give the figure with a clear caveat. In our data 44 of the 186 categories are expressly recorded as suites – but 73 are not typed at all.
Four properties are fully typed and therefore reliable: the JW Marriott Panama lists ten suites of 21 categories, the Waldorf Astoria Panama five of eight, the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón and the Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá four each.
We know least about the W Panama (23 of 25 categories untyped) and the Nayara Bocas del Toro, for which only two untyped categories are recorded.
Seven properties expressly record none.
One property asks for two nights, the Hotel La Compañia Casco Antiguo – and there the booking field confirms the same figure.
At one more, the Hyatt Regency Ciudad de Panamá, the two nights appear only in the booking field.
For three properties nothing is recorded at all – the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, the InterContinental Miramar Panama and the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón. That is not the same as an express “no minimum stay”; we confirm the condition before booking.
Ten of our twelve properties sit in Panama City, two outside.
In the city price decides little: eight properties sit between around 175 € and around 214 €. What separates them there is the programme and the credit – the Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo with two credits, for instance, against the W Panama, which carries none.
Outside sit the Hotel La Compañía del Valle El Valle de Antón in the highlands (from around 182 €) and the Nayara Bocas del Toro in the Bocas del Toro archipelago (from around 1,168 €) – the two properties that appear on no city page.
