Credits, programmes – and one property where 100 actually means 200
A credit comes with 21 of our 23 properties. Only the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo and the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel carry none; both bring points, breakfast and an upgrade instead.
One case deserves its own line. The Casa de Campo Resort carries the entry for a spa credit of 100 USD in our data – but the condition on file names 200 USD, redeemable either at the spa or as a green fee, the latter only on the Links Course. That makes it the highest single credit in our Dominican selection.
At the same property we name two further conditions, because they sit in the data: the additional 100 USD apply only from the 3- and 4-bedroom garden villas and from two nights, and not in combination with promotional rates. And the upgrade runs from an Elite Patio to an Elite Balcony room; a complimentary upgrade to a villa is expressly not provided.
Two further properties stack under conditions: the Paradisus Grand Cana Punta Cana adds 100 USD, but only from certain two-bedroom master suites and from two nights. The The Westin Puntacana Resort carries 50 USD for the spa (for a treatment of 50 minutes or longer, once per person per stay) and a further 100 USD for the spa from selected suite categories and two nights.
The smallest credit in the country is at the Catalonia Santo Domingo with 25 USD – an amount carried by only 48 of our 4,865 properties worldwide.

For travelling as a couple, three entries are relevant, and they differ on a point that is easily missed: the Paradisus Grand Cana Punta Cana carries a 50-minute massage for two people. The Paradisus Palma Real carries one massage per adult, also 50 minutes. The Tortuga Bay Hotel Punta Cana carries a 50-minute Six Senses Signature massage per adult per stay – plus a complimentary lunch or dinner for two and an airport transfer.
Two entries are decidedly rare across our whole portfolio: the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana carries a complimentary spa treatment – an entry that only four of our 4,865 properties hold. And the Amanera carries a daily afternoon tea in the library.
Two further properties name something concrete about the stay: the InterContinental Santo Domingo guarantees check-out until 2 pm, the Paradisus Grand Cana Punta Cana a guaranteed upgrade.
