Grand Hyatt Baha Mar · NassauWith every booking through suitespot you receive a package of suitespot benefits:9 of the 10 properties carry a published entry price: from around €284 at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar to around €943 at The Cove Eleuthera, with a typical rate of about €509. One further property is quoted on request.
And they fall the opposite way to what most people expect: the cheapest property sits inside the largest resort complex, the two dearest on the small islands.
For one of the ten we hold no entry rate – rather than quote a figure, we clarify the price for your dates directly.
The Bahamas comprise several hundred islands, but choosing a stay from our selection comes down to a single question: large resort complex or small island?
Rosewood Baha Mar · NassauSix of the ten properties stand at exactly two addresses. Three of them on One Baha Mar Boulevard at Cable Beach on New Providence, the other three on One Casino Drive on Paradise Island. Each trio shares grounds, beachfront and infrastructure – there you are choosing less a location than a property within one estate.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThe other four stand alone on three islands. Two on Eleuthera, one on Harbour Island, one on Great Exuma. Each is the only property in our selection at its location.
What that means in practice: both complexes are a short drive from Nassau airport. For the three islands a domestic flight or ferry is added – that is a travel decision, not a matter of taste, and it wants settling before you book.
Our travel advisors will confirm the connections for your dates before you commit.
We keep separate destination pages for the two resort complexes – there the properties stand side by side, with room and suite categories.
French Leave Resort Bahamas · Governor's HarbourWhat those pages do not cover are the four properties on the out islands – each of them alone at its location. Hence this section.
The French Leave Resort sits at Governor's Harbour and starts at around 544 €. The Cove Eleuthera sits at Gregory Town and starts at around 943 € – making it the dearest property in our entire Bahamas selection. Both lie on the same long island, but not in the same place.
The Pink Sands Resort in Dunmore Town starts at around 757 €, the second dearest in our selection. Harbour Island lies just off Eleuthera and is reached from there.
The Grand Isle Resort at Emerald Bay is our only property in the Exumas. For this property we hold no entry rate – so we quote no figure. Our travel advisors clarify the price for your dates directly with the property.
Entry rates across the nine properties with a recorded rate run from around 284 € to around 943 €. Between the two ends lies a spread of more than three to one, with a median entry of about 516 €.
Grand Isle Resort Bahamas · Great ExumaThe distribution is the real story. Anyone assuming a large resort is the expensive option and a small island the frugal one has it exactly the wrong way round here:
The cheapest property in our Bahamas selection sits inside the largest complex – the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar starts at around 284 €.
The two dearest stand on the small islands – The Cove Eleuthera at around 943 € and the Pink Sands Resort at around 757 €.
The reason is plain enough: the complexes hold many rooms across a broad range of categories, while the island properties are small and have no inexpensive entry category to offer. If you are planning to a budget, the Bahamas are most accessible precisely where the most is going on.
The individual rates for the six properties in the complexes are on our two destination pages for Nassau and Paradise Island, along with a comparison of room and suite categories.
Five of the ten properties belong to a loyalty programme, the other five to none. For a destination of this standing that is modest – and the distribution is this page's second surprise.
In the complexes it is two of six: the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar (World of Hyatt) and the SLS Baha Mar (ALL (Accor)). None of the three properties on Paradise Island belongs to a programme, and neither does the Rosewood Baha Mar.
On the out islands it is three of four: the French Leave Resort (Marriott Bonvoy) along with the Pink Sands Resort and the Grand Isle Resort (both I Prefer).
So if you are deliberately collecting points or status nights, the small islands give you better coverage than the large estates – the opposite of the usual expectation.
suitespot rates are full direct rates: where a programme is recorded you earn as normal and keep your status benefits, with the suitespot benefits on top. Where none is recorded, the suitespot benefits carry the stay on their own – and those are breakfast, upgrade and, as a rule, a credit.
Breakfast for two and a room upgrade subject to availability are included at all ten properties – with two qualifications we would rather state: at one property the breakfast is expressly continental, and at one the upgrade applies already at booking but expressly will not move you from a room to a suite.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comA hotel credit of 100 USD is held by nine of the ten, and early check-in and late check-out likewise by nine. A welcome gift is held by six.
Complimentary internet is held by only four of the ten – the lowest figure we know anywhere in our selection. If you work while travelling, that is the question to settle before booking; we are glad to do it for you.
On minimum stays the picture inverts a third time: only one single property requires one – and it is the largest of them all, the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, at two nights. All nine others are bookable for a single night.
On the season: the Bahamas are warm year-round; the official Atlantic hurricane season runs from June to November, concentrated in late summer. In those months rates are noticeably lower and availability good, but the weather risk rises. December to May is the most dependable stretch and accordingly the most sought-after.
As a suitespot guest you travel with VIP status: we register your preferences with the property before arrival.
What our travel advisors most often take on here is the prior decision – complex or island – and, if it is an island, getting you there.
For anniversaries, wedding nights or simply more space: these properties in the Bahamas offer their own suite categories. Our travel advisors know them in detail and will put together the right category for your occasion.

Entry rates across our properties run from around 284 € at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar to around 943 € at The Cove Eleuthera per night. The median entry rate is about 516 €.
That range covers nine of the ten properties. For the Grand Isle Resort on Great Exuma we hold no entry rate – so we quote no figure, and clarify the price for your dates directly with the property.
The distribution is worth noting: the cheapest property sits inside the largest resort complex, the two dearest on the small islands.
At five of the ten properties. For a destination of this size that is modest, and the distribution is surprising:
In the two large complexes it is two of six – the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar (World of Hyatt) and the SLS Baha Mar (ALL, Accor). None of the three properties on Paradise Island belongs to a programme.
On the small islands it is three of four – the French Leave Resort (Marriott Bonvoy) along with the Pink Sands Resort and Grand Isle Resort (both I Prefer).
suitespot rates are full direct rates: you earn as normal and receive the suitespot benefits on top.
For a destination like the Bahamas that question cannot usefully be answered with a single name – but it can be answered with the structure of our selection.
Six of the ten properties stand at just two addresses: three on One Baha Mar Boulevard near Nassau, three on One Casino Drive on Paradise Island. Choose one of those estates and you are then choosing between properties that share grounds and beachfront.
The other four stand alone on three islands – Eleuthera, Harbour Island and Great Exuma. There, each property is the only one in our selection at its location.
So the real decision is not which property, but complex or island. Tell us what matters to you and we will narrow the ten down.
Both complexes are a short drive from Nassau airport. For Eleuthera, Harbour Island and Great Exuma a domestic flight or ferry is added.
On price the complexes are the more accessible choice: entry there is around 284 €, while the island properties start at around 544 €.
On loyalty programmes it is the other way round: on the islands three of four properties belong to a programme, in the complexes only two of six.
For the detail on the two complexes – which properties stand there, which suite categories exist and what they cost – we keep separate destination pages for Nassau and Paradise Island.
At only one single one of our ten properties, and it is the largest of them: the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar requires two nights.
All nine others are bookable for a single night; three of them list that expressly as a benefit.
It is precisely the small island properties, where you might expect a minimum, that require none. Our travel advisors will confirm what applies to your specific dates before you book.
Breakfast for two and a room upgrade subject to availability are included at all ten – with two qualifications: at one property the breakfast is expressly continental, and at one the upgrade applies at booking but will not move you from a room to a suite.
A hotel credit of 100 USD is held by nine of the ten, early check-in and late check-out likewise by nine, and a welcome gift by six.
Complimentary internet is held by only four of the ten – the lowest figure we know in our selection. If you work while travelling, we settle that before booking.
Nine of the ten carry a hotel credit of 100 USD. The French Leave Resort on Eleuthera carries none – it brings breakfast, upgrade, early check-in and late check-out, a welcome gift and a tie to Marriott Bonvoy instead.
If you are counting on the credit, tell us before booking – we will name the properties that carry it.
The Bahamas are warm year-round. What matters for planning is less the temperature than the Atlantic hurricane season, which officially runs from June to November, concentrated in late summer.
In those months rates are noticeably lower and availability good, but the weather risk rises. December to May counts as the most dependable stretch and is accordingly the most sought-after.
If you travel in the shoulder months, it pays to look at the cancellation terms – our travel advisors will check those for your dates.
