Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville · Biltmore VillageWith every booking through suitespot you receive a comprehensive package of suitespot benefits:The highest entry rate belongs to the Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville at 11 Boston Way in Biltmore Village (from around 370 €) – and it is the only one of the three that takes part in a loyalty programme, Marriott Bonvoy.
The Omni Grove Park Inn on Macon Avenue in the Grove Park district follows at 240 €, listing an Executive suite category.
Zelda Dearest on South Lexington Avenue in the South Slope is the entry point at 174 € – and, despite being the least expensive of the three, it has by far the widest room choice, with seven suite categories: Azealia, Goldenord, Darling Heart Executive, Paradise Royal Executive, Lenora, Redbud and Sundrop Executive.
Three properties, three neighbourhoods, three very different rates: in Asheville the choice really is a choice.
Suites are the part of the Asheville market that a listing page hides, because the property with the most of them is also the one with the lowest entry rate.
Zelda Dearest Asheville · South Slope BrewingZelda Dearest on South Lexington Avenue lists seven suite categories – Azealia, Goldenord, Darling Heart Executive, Paradise Royal Executive, Lenora, Redbud and Sundrop Executive – starting from an entry rate of 174 €. Several of those names are drawn from the plants of the region, and the range of them is wider than at either of the other two properties combined.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThe Omni Grove Park Inn records one suite category, Executive, at an entry rate of 240 €. For the Grand Bohemian Lodge no separate suite categories are recorded with us.
The practical consequence is the opposite of the usual advice: in Asheville, a suite at the least expensive of our three properties can cost less than a standard room at the most expensive one. If space matters more than the address, that is the trade worth making – and it is the recommendation our travel advisors give most often for this city.
Two things decide an Asheville stay more than the hotel does. First, the season: the autumn weeks in the Blue Ridge are the busiest of the year here, and with only three properties in this class the whole selection tightens at once. If you are travelling for the colour, book early and give us a range of dates rather than one.
Second, where in town you want to be. Our three addresses are genuinely different places: Biltmore Village to the south, Grove Park on the slope above the city and the South Slope within walking distance of the downtown breweries and restaurants. That is a rare luxury in a three-hotel city – in most of our small destinations everything sits on the same two streets.
On the programmes: only the Grand Bohemian Lodge belongs to one, Marriott Bonvoy. The other two take part in no points programme, so if status nights matter for this trip, that narrows the field to one.
Three properties, three distinct parts of the city – so the choice comes down to what your days look like rather than to a ranking.
The Omni Grove Park Inn Asheville · Grove Park- SunsetHere are the three, by neighbourhood.
At 11 Boston Way, south of the centre, from around 370 € per night – the highest entry rate of the three and the only property here in Marriott Bonvoy. The choice if the estate and the village are the reason for the trip, or if points and status nights matter.
On Macon Avenue on the slope above the city, at 240 €, with an Executive suite category. A resort layout rather than a town hotel, and the most self-contained of our three Asheville addresses. It takes part in no loyalty programme.
On South Lexington Avenue at 174 €, the lowest entry rate here and the widest room choice with seven suite categories. The closest of the three to the downtown restaurants and breweries, and the one to look at first if you want to walk out in the evening. It also takes part in no loyalty programme.
Nothing further out in the Blue Ridge and nothing in the smaller mountain towns nearby – our selection here is the city itself, in three addresses. If your trip is built around the parkway or the region rather than around Asheville, tell your travel advisor before booking.
Whichever way you phrased the search – five-star hotels in Asheville NC, luxury hotels, nice hotels – it resolves to the same three addresses, so it is worth setting out what genuinely separates them.
Price is the widest gap: 174 €, 240 € and 370 €, a spread of more than double from bottom to top. Room choice runs the other way: seven suite categories at the cheapest address, one at the middle one, none recorded at the most expensive. Loyalty splits one against two: only the Grand Bohemian Lodge earns points, in Marriott Bonvoy.
And the setting is the real decision. Biltmore Village, Grove Park and the South Slope are three different Asheville stays: an estate-side village, a self-contained resort on the hill and a walkable downtown edge. None of those is better than the others in the abstract; each is clearly better for a particular trip.
Tell our travel advisors which of the three days you have in mind, and the choice usually makes itself.
Entry rates in our Asheville selection start at 174 € at Zelda Dearest, run through 240 € at The Omni Grove Park Inn and reach 370 € at the Grand Bohemian Lodge. The median is about 240 €.
What makes that spread useful rather than merely wide is that it lines up with three different kinds of stay rather than three grades of the same one. You are not paying twice as much for a better version of the same hotel; you are choosing between the South Slope, the hill and Biltmore Village.
The one asymmetry worth naming: the property with the lowest entry rate has the widest room choice. A suite at Zelda Dearest can therefore land close to, or below, a standard room at the top of our Asheville selection. In a city with three addresses, that is the single most useful thing to know before booking – and with suitespot the benefits worth more than 500 € apply at whichever of the three you choose.
What our travel advisors arrange most often in Asheville is the shape of the days rather than the room: estate and garden visits, drives out into the Blue Ridge, tables at the downtown restaurants that fill early in the autumn weeks, and transfers – the three properties are far enough apart that a car or a ride-hailing budget is worth planning for if you are not staying in the South Slope.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comOne timing note that matters more here than in most of our destinations: the autumn colour weeks are the peak of the year, and with three properties in this class the whole selection can be full at once. Give us a range of dates rather than a single one, and we will tell you which weeks are realistic.
As a suitespot guest you travel with VIP status at all three properties: we pass your preferences to the hotel before you arrive. On top of that come breakfast for two, a room upgrade subject to availability, early check-in and late check-out subject to availability and up to 100 USD hotel credit per stay. At the Grand Bohemian Lodge you also earn your usual Marriott Bonvoy points and status nights; the other two take part in no programme, which makes the suitespot benefits the whole of the advantage there.
suitespot rates are genuine direct rates: you keep earning regular points and elite nights in the hotel's loyalty program and retain your status benefits – on top of your suitespot benefits. These programs are represented in Asheville:
| Program | Hotels | Examples in Asheville |
|---|---|---|
| Marriott Bonvoy | 1 hotel | Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville |
Entry rates for our three Asheville properties start at around 174 € per night at Zelda Dearest in the South Slope, run through 240 € at The Omni Grove Park Inn and reach about 370 € at the Grand Bohemian Lodge in Biltmore Village. The median is roughly 240 €.
That spread is more than double from bottom to top, but it maps onto three genuinely different stays rather than three grades of the same one.
With suitespot you always book at direct rates, and the benefits worth more than 500 € come on top.
Zelda Dearest on South Lexington Avenue has by far the widest choice, with seven suite categories: Azealia, Goldenord, Darling Heart Executive, Paradise Royal Executive, Lenora, Redbud and Sundrop Executive. It is also the property with the lowest entry rate here, at 174 €.
The Omni Grove Park Inn records one Executive suite category at 240 €. For the Grand Bohemian Lodge no separate suite categories are recorded with us.
The consequence is worth knowing: in Asheville a suite at the least expensive of our three properties can cost less than a standard room at the most expensive one.
Our three properties sit in three genuinely different parts of the city, so this is the decision worth making first.
Biltmore Village to the south is where the Grand Bohemian Lodge stands (from 370 €) – the choice if the estate and the village are the reason for the trip. Grove Park, on the slope above the city, is The Omni Grove Park Inn (240 €), the most self-contained of the three and laid out as a resort. The South Slope is Zelda Dearest (174 €), the closest to the downtown restaurants and breweries and the easiest one to walk out from in the evening.
The three are far enough apart that a car or ride-hailing budget is worth planning for unless you stay in the South Slope.
Yes, where a programme exists. suitespot rates are full direct rates, so you earn the usual points and status nights in the relevant hotel programme.
In Asheville that applies to one of our three properties: the Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville belongs to Marriott Bonvoy. The Omni Grove Park Inn and Zelda Dearest take part in no loyalty programme.
If status nights matter for this trip, that narrows Asheville to a single address. The suitespot benefits – breakfast for two, upgrade subject to availability and up to 100 USD hotel credit – apply at all three regardless.
By entry rate, Zelda Dearest at around 174 € per night – and it is also the property here with the widest room choice, at seven suite categories, and the closest to the downtown restaurants and breweries.
The Omni Grove Park Inn at 240 € is the alternative if you want a resort layout on the slope above the city rather than a walkable downtown edge.
The Grand Bohemian Lodge at 370 € is the highest rate of the three, and what it adds is the Biltmore Village setting and Marriott Bonvoy points – the only points on offer in our Asheville selection.
Not in our selection, and we would rather say so. All three of our properties are in Asheville itself – Biltmore Village, Grove Park and the South Slope. We list nothing further out along the Blue Ridge and nothing in the smaller mountain towns nearby.
That works well if the city is the base and the mountains are the day trips, which is how most stays here are shaped. It works less well if your trip is built around the parkway or a particular valley.
Tell your travel advisor what you are travelling for before you book – we would rather point you at the right region than sell you a city room that adds an hour of driving to every day.
Autumn is the peak here, and for good reason – but it is also when our three properties tighten at once, because there is no fourth in the same class to absorb the demand. If you are travelling for the colour, book early and give us a range of dates.
Late spring and early summer are the quieter alternative with the mountains already green and rates below the autumn peak. Winter is genuinely cold at this elevation and the least busy time of the year.
Whichever weeks you are considering, ask your travel advisor to check them before you fix them – in a three-hotel city the difference between two adjacent weeks can decide whether you have a choice at all.
No family-specific room category is recorded with us at any of our three Asheville properties, and we would rather state that than imply an offering that is not on file.
That said, the room stock differs a great deal. Zelda Dearest lists seven suite categories, several of which are generous, at the lowest entry rate here. The Omni Grove Park Inn is laid out as a resort rather than a town hotel, which tends to suit longer stays with children.
Tell your travel advisor how many of you there are and how old the children are, and you will get the specific category that works in each house – before you book rather than on arrival.
