For orientation: Schliersee station lies on the BRB line from Munich, an hour; the bus runs from there up to the lake. The Tegernsee is a quarter of an hour away via the Valepp or the Spitzingsattel, Munich an hour. At the Spitzingsee one walks; the car stays at the hotel, and in winter one queues at the lift.
