Not one property belonging to the big chain programmes costs more than around 250 €. Six of the eight start below 170 €: The Isolano Cres (around 167 €), Le Méridien Lav Split (around 132 €), Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel (around 120 €), Rixos Premium Dubrovnik (around 120 €), Radisson Blu Resort Split (around 120 €) and Hyatt Regency Zadar (around 114 €); above them sit only the art'otel Zagreb (around 200 €) and the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula Radisson Collection (around 250 €).
Conversely, the ten highest room rates – all from around 290 € upwards – belong exclusively to the Leaders Club or to no programme at all. There is no expensive chain property in Croatia: if you want to earn points here you automatically book in the cheaper range, and if you want the top end you give them up.

The places one by one – and where the city field misleads
Because no single place carries the portfolio, we order it by stretch of coast. One note first: our place names come from the hotel data, and that data sometimes splits one connected area across several names. So we name the properties individually.
Around Dubrovnik: seven properties under three place names
Under Dubrovnik itself sit five: the Villa Dubrovnik (from around 554 €, Leaders Club), the Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik (from around 315 €), the Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik (from around 290 €), the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel (from around 120 €, Marriott Bonvoy) and the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik (from around 120 €, ALL (Accor)).Adriatic Istria Resort SavudrijaTwo more belong here but carry a different place name: the Sun Gardens Dubrovnik (from around 175 €, Leaders Club) is filed under Orašac, and the Lopud 1483 under Lopud – its address reads “Insel Lopud, Dubrovnik”.
This one stretch already shows the opposing pattern: the two chain properties are the cheapest, the Villa Dubrovnik is more than four times as much.
Around Split and further north along the coast
Under Split sit the Vestibul Palace Split (from around 140 €) and the Radisson Blu Resort Split (from around 120 €, Radisson Rewards); the Le Méridien Lav Split (from around 132 €, Marriott Bonvoy) is filed under Podstrana.
Further north follow the D-Resort Šibenik (from around 143 €), the Hyatt Regency Zadar (from around 114 €, World of Hyatt) – the lowest entry in the country – and the Boutique & Design Hotel Navis Opatija (from around 145 €).
Istria: six properties, two price worlds
In Rovinj sit the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj (from around 323 €) and the Hotel Monte Mulini Rovinj (from around 230 €), both in the Leaders Club. Then come the San Canzian Village in Buje (from around 312 €, no programme) and the Adriatic Istria Resort Savudrija (from around 200 €, GHA Discovery) – the country's only property in that programme.
At the southern tip of the peninsula sits the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula Radisson Collection (from around 250 €, Radisson Rewards), and north of them, in Novigrad, the Palazzo Rainis Hotel, for which we hold no entry rate.
The islands: six properties, six places
On the islands every place holds exactly one property: the Villa Nai 3.3 in Žman (from around 755 €, Leaders Club) – the most expensive room in the country –, the Maslina Resort in Stari Grad (from around 482 €), the Boutique Hotel Alhambra Mali Lošinj (from around 387 €), the Palace Elisabeth Hvar Heritage Hotel (from around 344 €, Leaders Club), The Isolano Cres (from around 167 €, Marriott Bonvoy) and the Lopud 1483.
Plus the Villa Korta Katarina in Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula (from around 700 €) – the most expensive property with no points programme.
And a single property inland
Exactly one property in our Croatian selection is not on the coast: the art'otel Zagreb in the capital (from around 200 €, Radisson Rewards). It is therefore also the only one that does not slot into a coastal itinerary but works on its own – as an arrival or departure night, for instance.
What a night costs – and why one entry reads 15,040 €
For 24 properties entry rates run from around 114 € at the Hyatt Regency Zadar to around 755 € at the Villa Nai 3.3. And then our data holds one entry at 15,040 €. That is not an overpriced suite but a different kind of offer: the Lopud 1483 is let as a whole estate. Six things in the data say the same: it lists exactly one category, requires at least three nights, its benefit package names five bedrooms and five bathrooms plus its own staff, a private chef, pool and terrace – and it is the only property in Croatia with no breakfast, no late check-out, no wifi and no upgrade. Precisely the benefits that make no sense for a privately rented estate.
So we take that figure out of every price statement and name it separately. It does not move the middle of the field at around 230 € in any case: an average would be useless here, while the midpoint of the series is untouched by the outlier.
Programmes, credits – and four amounts that differ from the small print

A hotel credit comes with 15 of the 26, usually 100 USD or 50 USD. Four amounts differ from the small print, and we pass on the exact wording:
At the Maslina Resort it is 100 EUR, not 100 USD. At the D-Resort Šibenik the Exclusive Sea View Villa receives an additional 100 USD for the spa, from two nights and not combinable with promotions. At the Radisson Blu Resort Split the same increase to 100 USD applies to the penthouse suites. And the Lopud 1483 carries a concierge credit of 500 EUR instead of a hotel credit.
Three properties state exactly where their credit does not apply: at the Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik it is not redeemable in the spa. At the Sun Gardens Dubrovnik it does not apply in the shopping promenade's stores or to babysitting. At the Villa Dubrovnik, by contrast, the 100 USD are named explicitly: for food and drink or the spa, redeemable at the Pjerin Restaurant, the Al Fresco Giardino Bar, the Library Bar and the Villa SPA.
One property stands out separately: the Radisson Blu Resort Split adds “not included in all rates” to three separate benefits – breakfast, the credit and the suite credit. It is the only property in the country whose benefits depend on the rate booked; we confirm them before booking.
A room upgrade comes with 25 of the 26 (at the Hyatt Regency Zadar already at booking), complimentary internet with 18 of the 26.
Breakfast is worth a closer look: 23 of the 26 properties include it for two with no condition attached. The two Radisson Collection properties – Grand Hotel Brioni Pula Radisson Collection and art'otel Zagreb – include it from the Premium room upwards instead; both bring an upgrade, late check-out and the points credit.
Suites, room sizes and a minimum stay that is often recorded twice
In our room data, 117 of the 330 categories are expressly recorded as suites, 104 as rooms and 109 are not typed at all. Six properties name two nights – and for three of them the booking field expressly confirms those two nights: Boutique & Design Hotel Navis Opatija, Boutique Hotel Alhambra Mali Lošinj and Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik. For the other three (Palazzo Rainis Hotel, San Canzian Village, Vestibul Palace Split) the field reads zero.
Only in the booking field do two nights appear at the Hyatt Regency Zadar and three nights at the Lopud 1483.
One contradiction remains: the Villa Nai 3.3 records no minimum stay in its benefit list but one night in the booking field. The same field reads one at the Maslina Resort and the Villa Korta Katarina. Where the sources disagree we claim no figure and confirm the condition for your travel dates.

Are there luxury hotels on the Croatian coast?
Our portfolio is spread almost entirely along the coast and the islands – 18 place names from Savudrija in the far north-west to Dubrovnik in the south, including six properties on islands.
We do not, however, claim beachfront positions we cannot evidence. What we do know are the addresses: the Lopud 1483 sits on the island of Lopud off Dubrovnik, the Boutique Hotel Alhambra Mali Lošinj on Lošinj.
