The hotel welcomes guests aged twelve and over. For families with younger children this island is therefore a different trip – tell us when you enquire and our travel advisors will suggest something else on Cres or in the Kvarner.
Not every category faces the water. Some look out over the Adriatic, others onto the park, and one has a partial view of the sea. If the water matters to you, say so at once – here the category decides, not luck.
One category has direct pool access. It is called Infinity Room Pool Access, and it is the reason some guests never make it to the beach at all.
Where to stay on Cres: on the water, ten minutes from town
The Isolano stands on the Lungo mare Sv. Mikule, on the water, about a ten-minute walk from the town of Cres.
Our recommendation for a first visit: the town itself is a Venetian-influenced harbour place – quay, loggia, narrow lanes. You walk in for the evening and walk back, and on most days that is all you need.
The island is long. Cres and Lošinj to the south hang together; from the north to the bridge is over sixty kilometres. To see Beli in the north, the freshwater lake Vrana in the middle or the coves in the south, you need a car.
You arrive by ferry from Brestova or across the bridge at Krk. From Rijeka allow a good two hours, depending on the ferry.
Rooms and suites: nine categories, one with direct pool access
The hotel offers nine categories, including the Isolano Suite in two versions.
The names here are not decoration, they say something: Adriatic Room and Kvarner Room are named after the sea and the gulf, Pine Room after the pines behind the hotel, and the two Infinity Rooms after the pool – one of the two has direct access to it.
And then the view, which on this island is the real question: the Adriatic Room and the Isolano Suite have full Adriatic views. Other categories look into the park or only partly onto the water.

The island covers around four hundred square kilometres and has only a few thousand residents. Between the settlements lie dry stone walls, sheep pastures and forest – and above it all circle the griffon vultures, whose colony is in the north near Beli. The rescue centre there is why the island is known beyond its size.
The second is the water. The Adriatic here is clear and deep, and the coves in the south are reached on foot or by boat. The hotel has its own beach access and two heated pools, which stretches the season beyond what the sea allows.
The third is the town of Cres. Venetian, small, with a harbour promenade where everyone sits in the evening. Ten minutes on foot from the hotel, and the one walk you really take every day.
