Six countries carry the European portfolio: Italy with 397 properties, France and Spain with 234 each, the United Kingdom with 213, Greece with 150 and Germany with 123.Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten HamburgThe spread is more telling than the volume. France covers 54 dedicated destinations, more than any other European country – with 163 fewer properties than Italy, which spreads its 397 across 38 destinations. The United Kingdom is the opposite case: 213 properties across just 13 destinations, heavily concentrated on London. If you are looking for a region, France and Italy are the place; if you want a city, Britain and Greece.

The cheapest entry sits at around €50 per night, the median across our European portfolio at about €294. The gap between countries is wide: the most affordable are Bulgaria (median €141), Romania (€148) and Malta (€151), while the top end is held by Switzerland (€442), Italy (€395) and Monaco (€334).Conrad HamburgFour entries deliberately sit outside that calculation, because they are whole-property rates rather than room rates: Château de la Croix des Gardes near Cannes (around €126,030), Villa Celestial (€21,000) and Villa Los Verdiales in Marbella (€10,700), and Villa Riviera in Saint-Paul-de-Vence (€5,888). They are booked in full, not per room. A further 57 of the 1,944 properties carry no published price with us and are quoted on request.
