The Five Seas Hotel Cannes on Rue Notre Dame (223 €) with the Top of Five Secret and SO categories – a small property between the Croisette and Rue d'Antibes, the city's shopping street.
Le Suquet and the harbour
The Canopy Cannes on Boulevard Jean Hibert (147 €) with Canopy and Sky categories sits at the western end of the bay, below the old town of Le Suquet – our quietest location and the lowest entry rate.

Both are rented as a whole, not by the room, both run on Fans of Mandarin Oriental, and both require a minimum stay of seven nights.
Their rates are accordingly on a different scale from the hotels: the Villa Palmira starts at around 6,410 € per night, the Château De La Croix Des Gardes at around 126,030 € per night. These are whole-property rates – not comparable to hotel room rates, and therefore not included in our price range.

When is the best time to visit Cannes?
May to June and September are the most pleasant months: warm but not crowded.
Two dates are worth knowing because they set prices along the whole coast: the film festival in May and the Monaco Grand Prix in late May. In those weeks the Croisette properties sell out early.
July and August are high season with full beaches; from October to April Cannes is much quieter and better value – the mild climate is ample for the town and coastal trips.
