What lies within reach: Mount Yotei, 1,898 metres, an almost symmetrical volcanic cone; the four ski areas of Niseko United, linked over the mountain; and the onsen of the region, hot springs that the volcano provides in number – one category at this hotel has a bath of its own.
On arrival: New Chitose airport is 82 kilometres away, Sapporo 57. Kutchan station is five kilometres off, with a shuttle in winter.
