The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien · Sattahip DistrictFor this guide we have put together the best hotels in Na Jomtien: two luxury hotels, both on the water, with a median price of 108 € per night. The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien costs 122 € per night, the Veranda Pattaya costs 94 €.
Veranda Resort Pattaya · Nakawari VillageBoth include breakfast for two, a hotel credit of 100 US dollars, a room upgrade, a late check-out, a welcome gift.
The difference lies elsewhere – and it runs the opposite way to what you would expect.
In Na Jomtien the property on the water is the less expensive one.
Only the Veranda Pattaya has a category right on the water. The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien has the view of the sea – which is not the same thing.
And the Veranda is the more affordable hotel: 94 € against 122 €. So the 28 € difference does not buy the beach here.
Then there is the condition: at The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien the suitespot benefits apply from two nights, at the Veranda Pattaya from the first. And both carry the same hotel credit of 100 US dollars.
Our advice: if you want to be in the water in the morning, take the Veranda. If you want the design and the bar, take The Standard – and plan two nights.
Tell our travel advisors what matters to you. With two properties that is settled in one sentence.
Na Jomtien lies on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, south of Pattaya, and both hotels in this selection stand on the beach.
In the southern stretch, towards Sattahip, the coast turns quieter and the building looser. Our recommendation: The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien.
Further north, closer to Jomtien, the restaurants and beach bars sit closer together. Our recommendation: the Veranda Pattaya.
For orientation: Pattaya adjoins to the north, with the harbor and the boats to Koh Larn. The Nong Nooch garden lies southeast inland. And at Khao Chi Chan, the Buddha Mountain, a Buddha is inlaid into the rock face, visible from a distance.
The best hotels in Na Jomtien offer 21 categories between them, and seven of those are suites.
They are spread almost evenly: eleven at The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien and ten at the Veranda Pattaya.
On views, The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien lists categories facing the sea. The Veranda Pattaya goes one step further and has categories right on the water – in Thailand that is the difference between a balcony and a morning in the sea.
Tell our travel advisors which of the two you mean.

When it is at its best: from November to February. That is the cool, dry season, when the sea is calm and the evenings are pleasant.
When it is quietest: in June and September. The beaches are empty, prices lower, and the rain usually falls in the late afternoon – that is, after the beach day.
When to book early: over Christmas and New Year, for Chinese New Year and for Songkran in April. In those weeks the whole coast is full, and with two properties that means very early.
And whatever the date: you get the suitespot benefits in June exactly as in December.
How long to stay: four to five nights. One for arriving, two for the beach, one for a day on Koh Larn and one for the hinterland.
You can earn points and status at both hotels: World of Hyatt at The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien and ALL (Accor) at the Veranda Pattaya.
What our travel advisors arrange most often in Na Jomtien is the day inland: the Nong Nooch garden with its French parterres and its palm collection, and Khao Chi Chan, where a Buddha is inlaid in gold into the rock face. Both lie to the southeast, and both fit into one morning.

And the food: grilled seafood you pick out on the beach; som tam, the papaya salad you order by degrees of heat; tom yum with lemongrass and chili; and mango with sticky rice when the season is right.
Both properties include breakfast for two, a hotel credit of 100 US dollars, a room upgrade, a late check-out, a welcome gift.
One difference sits in the upgrade: at The Standard Pattaya Na Jomtien it is assigned at the time of booking, at the Veranda Pattaya subject to availability on arrival. If you book early and want certainty, that is one more argument for the first; if you travel spontaneously, you lose nothing at the second.
