The hotels in Hua Hin differ less in standard than in location and character. Which address suits which trip is something our travel advisors settle in a conversation, with the date, the occasion and the budget in view. Prices shown are entry rates and may include limited-time promotional rates. At the top of our recommendation: the Marriott Resort Hua Hin.

Marriott Resort Hua Hin · DistrictFor this guide we have gathered the best hotels in Hua Hin: 8 luxury hotels, from 118 euros a night. The luxury hotels in Hua Hin cost between 118 € and 465 € a night, on average 130 €. Six of them sit close together between 118 and 149 euros; two pull away sharply.
InterContinental Hua Hin Resort · Phasuk VillageBut the prices are not what decides things here. What decides them is how long you stay.
Whether a hotel asks for two nights is normally a case-by-case matter. In Hua Hin it is the rule.
Six of the eight hotels set a minimum stay of two nights. That is unusual – at hardly any other destination of this size is a minimum stay so common.
And now the part that actually helps you.
There are two exceptions, and one of them is the cheapest hotel in the whole selection:
• Marriott Resort Hua Hin at 118 €
• InterContinental Hua Hin Resort at 128 €
If you are fitting Hua Hin in as a stopover on the way south, or adding a single night by the sea, those two are your field.
There is no chain rule here, incidentally. Among the six with a minimum stay are three World of Hyatt hotels, two from ALL (Accor) and one with no programme at all – while the two exceptions belong to Marriott Bonvoy and IHG One Rewards. The logo will not tell you.
Our advice: tell us first how many nights you are planning. After that the choice takes one sentence – and at two nights the whole field is open to you.
Hua Hin lies on the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand, and the eight hotels spread across a surprisingly long stretch of coast.
V Villas Hua Hin · Circaden MarktIn town itself stands The Standard Hua Hin at 128 € on Naresdamri Road, right on the promenade. The Marriott Resort Hua Hin at 118 € – the most affordable entry – and the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort at 128 € sit on Phet Kasem Road.
Towards Khao Takiab, south of the centre, stand the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin at 131 € and The Barai Hua Hin at 262 € – both on the same road. The V Villas Hua Hin at 465 €, the dearest in the selection, is there too. Our recommendation if quiet is the reason for the trip.
Two hotels are not in Hua Hin at all. The SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin at 126 € and the VALA Hua Hin Phetchaburi at 149 € stand in Cha-am – and thus in a different province: their addresses give Phetchaburi, the other six Prachuap Khiri Khan. The postcode shows it, 76120 against 77110. If you want to walk to dinner on the promenade, that is worth knowing.
Distances to Bangkok and between the hotels we plan together with you. Our travel advisors work them out for your particular plan.
Nine room categories face the sea. Nine more look out on the forest – a remarkable motif for a beach resort, and one that has to do with the hills behind the coast.
Together the best hotels in Hua Hin offer 114 room categories.
Hyatt Regency Hua Hin · Hua ThanonThe size of almost every category is known in advance at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, the VALA Hua Hin Phetchaburi and The Standard Hua Hin.
For the Marriott Resort Hua Hin, the SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin and The Barai Hua Hin with its 17 categories, our travel advisors obtain the measurements before you book.
The largest units: a Presidential suite at 434 square metres, another suite at 405 and one at 172. Then follow a Beachfront suite at 169 and two The Barai suites at 149 each. The smallest unit measures 29 square metres.
Layout, square metres and room type are obtained directly from the hotel by our travel advisors before you book.

| Marriott Resort Hua Hin | 118 € | 1st night |

| The Standard Hua Hin | 128 € | 2 nights |

At two of the eight hotels the benefits apply from the first night, at the other six from the second.
When it is at its best: from November to March – dry, mild, calm seas. Our recommendation is January, when the air is at its clearest.
From May to October the south-west monsoon falls, though far more gently on this coast than on the Andaman side. The rain usually comes in the afternoon and rates sit below those of the dry season. Since six of the eight hotels ask for two nights anyway, you lose nothing by staying longer in that period – on the contrary, this is where the longer stay pays most clearly.
And whatever the date: you get the suitespot benefits in the quietest week of the year exactly as in the busiest.
In Hua Hin all eight hotels offer three benefits: breakfast, the upgrade and the early check-in or late check-out.
Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThen follow points or status benefits and a hotel credit at seven each, and a welcome gift at six.
At the two one-night addresses a closer look pays – they pay for their flexibility. The Marriott Resort Hua Hin is the only hotel in the selection without a hotel credit – the other seven include one. And at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort the welcome gift that the other seven include is not part of the package. So it is precisely the two addresses you would take for a single night that bring a little less than the rest. That is the trade-off in Hua Hin, and you should know it beforehand.
The credits themselves are 100 US dollars at five hotels and 50 at two.
And the loyalty side: World of Hyatt is the most strongly represented with three hotels, ALL (Accor) with two, plus one each at Marriott Bonvoy and IHG One Rewards. Only the VALA Hua Hin Phetchaburi stands outside the loyalty programmes.
The focus of this selection is World of Hyatt. Your status benefits and points stay intact: suitespot books direct rates, not consolidator fares. The programs you will find in Hua Hin:
At no extra cost: you pay the same rate as booking direct with the hotel – the suitespot benefits come on top, free of charge.
| Program | Hotels | Examples in Hua Hin |

| World of Hyatt | 3 hotels | Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, The Barai Hua Hin, The Standard Hua Hin |

Yes, at six of the eight hotels – there the suitespot benefits apply only from two nights. For a single night, the Marriott Resort and the InterContinental are the ones to choose.
Two: the Marriott Resort Hua Hin at 118 € – also the cheapest in the selection – and the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort at 128 €.
Between 118 € and 465 €, on average 130 €.
The SO/ Sofitel and the VALA stand in Cha-am and thus in the province of Phetchaburi rather than Prachuap Khiri Khan. The postcode shows it: 76120 against 77110.
Nine categories face the sea, nine more look out on the forest of the hills behind the coast. Our travel advisors confirm the sea view before you book.
The largest unit is a Presidential Suite at 434 square metres, the smallest measures 29.
At all eight hotels, as are the upgrade and the early check-in or late check-out.
November to March, ideally January. May to October is the monsoon – gentler on this coast than on the Andaman side, and considerably cheaper.
