Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah · Palm JumeirahWith every booking through suitespot you enjoy a comprehensive package of suitespot benefits:Dubai's best-known properties stand on Palm Jumeirah: Atlantis The Royal (rated 4.7), Raffles The Palm (4.6), the Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah (4.3), plus W Dubai The Palm, The St. Regis Dubai The Palm, Fairmont The Palm and the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – 15 of our properties on a single man-made island.
Along Jumeirah Beach follow the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah at 4.9 – our highest-rated property in the city – and the Bvlgari Resort Dubai on Jumeirah Bay Island. In Downtown, around the Burj Khalifa, stand the Address properties, The Dubai EDITION and the Mandarin Oriental Downtown; in the Marina, The Ritz-Carlton Dubai (4.7) and the Address Beach Resort, among others. And if you want to leave the city behind entirely, the Al Maha Desert Resort (4.8) and Bab Al Shams lie an hour's drive out in the desert.
Dubai is a city of large formats, and that extends to the rooms: what would be a top category elsewhere is often the standard here.
Conrad Dubai · Trade CentreThe most committed example is The Biltmore Hotel Villas Dubai in Al Barsha, which at around 1,080 € per night is also the city's highest entry rate and lets entire villas. Villas and beach houses are also available at the Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf in Madinat Jumeirah, the One&Only Royal Mirage and the Al Maha Desert Resort, whose suites all have a private pool facing the desert.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comFor stays with a kitchen – a frequent request in Dubai given the long journey – we feature several residence addresses: the InterContinental Residence Suites in Festival City, the InterContinental Residences in Business Bay and the SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences. For the largest city rooms, look to the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, One&Only One Za'abeel and SIRO One Za'abeel.
One note on what guests ask for: in Dubai, suites with a sea view and suites with a Burj Khalifa view are two entirely different products, and availability differs by property. Tell our travel advisors which view matters more to you; we register the request with the hotel before you arrive.
Dubai has the strongest seasonality in our portfolio: high season runs from November to March, and in high summer rates fall dramatically – the same properties that start in the low three figures in January are often worth half that in July and August. If you can take the heat and plan to spend your time in the water and in air-conditioned interiors anyway, this is the best value in the entire collection.
Second point: Dubai has more brand-specific loyalty programmes than any other city in our portfolio. Alongside Marriott Bonvoy (21 properties) and ALL (16), you will find Jumeirah ONE (8), GHA Discovery (4) and even Fans of Mandarin Oriental (2) – programmes that barely appear elsewhere. If you are a member of one of them, please quote your number when booking.
Dubai is spread out, and the choice of area shapes a stay more than in any European city: roughly 25 kilometres of motorway separate the Marina from Downtown.
Rixos Premium Hotel Dubai · MarinaThese six areas cover our portfolio.
Fifteen of our properties stand on the Palm, from Atlantis The Royal at its tip (from around 720 €) through Raffles The Palm, the Waldorf Astoria, W Dubai The Palm, The St. Regis The Palm, Fairmont The Palm, Sofitel The Palm, Anantara The Palm, Andaz The Palm and Taj Exotica to the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The lowest entry rate on the island is The Retreat Palm at around 50 € per night. All have their own beach; getting into town means driving.
The Marina is Dubai's densest hotel area: The Ritz-Carlton Dubai (rated 4.7), the Address Beach Resort, the Rixos Premium, The Westin and W Dubai Mina Seyahi, Le Royal Méridien, JW Marriott Marina, Grosvenor House, the InterContinental Marina, the Sofitel Jumeirah Beach, the Al Habtoor Grand and the affordable Vida and Ciel addresses. Everything here is walkable – beach promenade, restaurants, metro.
If you are here for the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, this is where to stay: the three Address properties (Downtown, Sky View, Dubai Mall), The Palace Downtown, the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, The Dubai EDITION, The St. Regis Downtown, two Kempinski properties, the Sofitel Downtown, Vida Dubai Mall, ME Dubai and the Hotel Indigo Downtown (from around 60 €). Business Bay adds the Taj Dubai and the InterContinental Residences.
Along Jumeirah Beach lie the quieter addresses: the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah (4.9), the Bvlgari Resort on Jumeirah Bay Island (from around 910 €), the Nikki Beach Resort and the Madinat Jumeirah complex with Al Qasr, Al Naseem, Mina Al Salam and Dar Al Masyaf, plus the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
For meetings in the financial district: the Waldorf Astoria DIFC (rated 4.9), The Ritz-Carlton DIFC, the Conrad Dubai (4.2), the Shangri-La, The Fairmont Dubai and the 25hours One Central (both from around 70 €), the Sheraton Grand, the Jumeirah Emirates Towers and One&Only and SIRO at One Za'abeel.
In old Dubai along the Creek stand the Park Hyatt Dubai (4.6), the JW Marriott Marquis (4.6), Raffles Dubai (4.6), the Grand Hyatt, the Hyatt Regency Creek Heights (from around 70 €) and the new properties at Creek Harbour. An hour's drive out, the desert begins: the Al Maha Desert Resort (4.8, from around 750 €) inside the conservation reserve, Bab Al Shams and the Meliá Desert Palm.
The most common mistake when booking Dubai is the location – and one question avoids it: do you want to be on the water or in the city?
Raffles The Palm Dubai · The PalmFor a beach holiday, Palm Jumeirah, the Marina and Jumeirah Beach are the right addresses. Those properties have their own stretches of beach, and you may not leave the grounds for days. The price is distance: Downtown, the Burj Khalifa and the old town are 20 to 40 minutes away by car, and in high season Dubai's traffic is reliably slow.
For sightseeing and shopping, stay in Downtown or Business Bay – walking distance to the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall and the metro, but no beach. The best compromise is the Marina: beach promenade and metro in one, with properties such as The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, the Address Beach Resort and the Westin Mina Seyahi.
And if you want both, add two nights in the desert to a city stay: the Al Maha Desert Resort in the conservation reserve and Bab Al Shams lie about an hour out and offer an entirely different experience from the coast. Our travel advisors will arrange the combination, transfers included.
By our own ratings, two properties share the lead: the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah on the beach and the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre in the financial district, both at 4.9.
They are followed by the Al Maha Desert Resort (4.8), Atlantis The Royal and The Ritz-Carlton Dubai (4.7 each), and Raffles The Palm, the Park Hyatt Dubai, the JW Marriott Marquis and Raffles Dubai (4.6 each). What stands out is the spread: beach resort, city hotel, desert camp and business property sit close together in the ratings – in Dubai there is no single best location.
On price, The Biltmore Hotel Villas Dubai leads at around 1,080 € per night, followed by the Bvlgari Resort (around 910 €), Al Maha (around 750 €) and Atlantis The Royal (around 720 €). At the other end, The Retreat Palm starts at around 50 € and several Vida properties and the Hotel Indigo Downtown at around 60 € – the city's median entry rate is about 140 € per night.
That is the real finding about Dubai: the city has headline prices, but its median sits below Rome, Paris or Vienna. Travel flexibly and don't mind the high summer, and you get a beach resort here for European mid-market money.
What our travel advisors arrange most often in Dubai are restaurant reservations – the well-known places on the Palm and in Downtown are booked out weeks ahead – desert safaris with hotel pick-up, and tickets for the Burj Khalifa observation decks, which regularly sell out around sunset.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comTransfers matter in practice: from the airport it is 15 minutes to Downtown or the Creek and up to 45 minutes to the Palm or the Marina – worth planning for on late arrivals. Within the city, the metro along Sheikh Zayed Road is fast and covers the Marina, Downtown and DIFC; for Palm Jumeirah and Madinat Jumeirah you will need a taxi.
As a suitespot guest you also travel with VIP status: our travel advisors pass your preferences to the hotel before arrival – from a high floor with a Burj Khalifa view to the occasion of your trip. Your stay then begins with the planning rather than at the front desk.
And because Dubai has the broadest loyalty landscape in our portfolio, one reminder: you also earn normally with Jumeirah ONE, GHA Discovery and Fans of Mandarin Oriental when booking through suitespot – simply quote your membership number when you book.
suitespot rates are genuine direct rates: you keep earning regular points and elite nights in the hotel's loyalty program and retain your status benefits – on top of your suitespot benefits. These programs are represented in Dubai:

Entry rates across our 92 luxury hotels in Dubai start at around 50 € per night (The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle, closely followed by Vida Emirates Hills and The Retreat Palm) and reach about 1,080 € per night at The Biltmore Hotel Villas – depending on season, room category and availability. The median entry rate is around 140 € per night, below that of Rome, Paris or Vienna.
Season is the decisive factor in Dubai: high season runs from November to March with markedly higher rates, while prices fall sharply in high summer. With suitespot you always book at direct rates, and the benefits worth over 500 € come on top.
By our ratings two properties share the lead at 4.9: the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah on the beach and the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre in the financial district. They are followed by the Al Maha Desert Resort (4.8), Atlantis The Royal on the Palm and The Ritz-Carlton Dubai in the Marina (4.7 each), then Raffles The Palm, the Park Hyatt Dubai on the Creek, the JW Marriott Marquis and Raffles Dubai (4.6 each).
The spread is telling: beach resort, city hotel, desert camp and business property sit close together. In Dubai there is no single best location – only the right one for your trip.
It depends on whether you want the water or the city. Palm Jumeirah holds 15 of our properties, all with their own beach (Atlantis The Royal, Raffles The Palm, the Waldorf Astoria, W Dubai The Palm and others) – but it is a 30 to 40 minute drive into town. Downtown is the choice for the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall (Address Downtown, Address Sky View, The Palace Downtown, Mandarin Oriental Downtown, The Dubai EDITION), but it has no beach.
The best compromise is the Dubai Marina: beach promenade and metro in one, with The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, the Address Beach Resort and the Westin Mina Seyahi. Quieter and more classical is Jumeirah Beach and Madinat Jumeirah.
Yes. suitespot rates are genuine direct rates: you earn regular points and status nights in the respective hotel programme. Dubai has the broadest loyalty landscape in our portfolio – Marriott Bonvoy (21 properties), ALL (16), Jumeirah ONE (8), IHG Rewards (7), World of Hyatt (5), GHA Discovery (4), Hilton Honors (3), plus Fans of Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La Golden Circle, Meliá Rewards, iPrefer and the Leaders Club.
With the smaller programmes in particular, quote your membership number when booking. You keep your status benefits; the suitespot benefits come in addition.
In Downtown Dubai – within walking distance or a short drive of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall – we feature the Address Downtown, Address Sky View and Address Dubai Mall, The Palace Downtown, the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, The Dubai EDITION, The St. Regis Dubai Downtown, the Kempinski The Boulevard and Kempinski Central Avenue, the Sofitel Dubai Downtown, Vida Dubai Mall, ME Dubai and – as the area's lowest entry rate – the Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown from around 60 € per night.
If a view of the tower matters to you, tell us before booking: those categories are limited at every property, and rooms are otherwise only assigned at check-in.
Entire villas are let by The Biltmore Hotel Villas Dubai in Al Barsha – at around 1,080 € per night also the city's highest entry rate. Villas and beach houses are also available at the Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf in Madinat Jumeirah, the One&Only Royal Mirage and the Al Maha Desert Resort, where every suite has its own pool.
For longer stays with a kitchen there are several residence addresses: the InterContinental Residence Suites in Festival City, the InterContinental Residences in Business Bay and the SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences. For unusually generous city rooms, look to the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, One&Only One Za'abeel and SIRO One Za'abeel.
Yes, three – and they are an entirely different experience from the coast. The Al Maha Desert Resort lies inside the conservation reserve about an hour's drive out, is one of our highest-rated properties in the region at 4.8 and starts at around 750 € per night; every suite has a private pool. Bab Al Shams Desert Resort (from around 260 €) is the more accessible alternative, and the Meliá Desert Palm (from around 90 €) sits closer to the city.
Our recommendation: add two desert nights to a city stay. Our travel advisors will arrange the combination, transfers included.
High season runs from November to March: the weather is pleasant, properties are well booked and rates are markedly higher. In high summer, by contrast, prices fall sharply – the same properties that start in the low three figures in January often cost half that in July and August.
If you are going to spend your time by the pool, in the water and in air-conditioned interiors anyway, summer in Dubai offers the best value in our entire portfolio. For desert excursions or longer periods outdoors, winter is the clearly better choice.
