The St. Regis Residence Club AspenWe list 9 addresses here with a median of 668 € a night – above Zermatt (442 €), Park City (344 €) and Denver (224 €).Everything sits within a few blocks, and the address still makes a difference.
Hotel Jerome an Auberge Resort · ColoradoAt the foot of Aspen Mountain stand three hotels: the Little Nell right at the gondola, the St. Regis Aspen Resort on East Dean Street and the W Aspen with categories facing the street and the mountain. Our recommendation: the Little Nell.
Two or three blocks on, in town, come the Hotel Jerome on Main Street, a silver-era building from 1889, the MOLLIE Aspen with categories facing the mountain and the Limelight Aspen on South Monarch Street. Our recommendation: the Hotel Jerome.
Then there are two residences that live in the same building as their hotel: the St. Regis Residence Club and the Sky Residences at W Aspen. Our recommendation: the St. Regis Residence Club.
And twelve kilometres west, in Snowmass Village, the Viceroy Snowmass.
Two addresses in our selection are not rooms but apartments – and they are exactly what explains the price range.
The St. Regis Residence Club and the St. Regis Aspen Resort share the address 315 East Dean Street. The Sky Residences and the W Aspen share 550 South Spring Street. Each pair is the same building – once as a hotel, once as a residence with several bedrooms.
That is why our range runs from 186 € to 2,883 €: the 2,883 € is the price of a whole apartment, not of a room. Put the numbers side by side and you see it at once – the St. Regis Aspen Resort starts at 668 €, the W Aspen at 381 €.
Which raises the question to settle before booking: how many bedrooms do you need? For two, book the hotel. For six or eight – and in Aspen people often travel six or eight – the residence in the same building is often the calmer sum per person, with a kitchen and a living room besides.
The selection starts at 186 € at the MOLLIE Aspen and 282 € at the Viceroy Snowmass.
And in all nine addresses the suitespot benefits apply from the first night – without exception.
Aspen has its own airport four kilometres out of town; from Denver it is a good four hours over the pass.
The Little Nell · ColoradoStay at the mountain if the day should begin at the gondola: Aspen Mountain rises straight behind the town, and in summer the same paths lead to the Maroon Bells. Our recommendation: the Little Nell, for us the first address in town.
Stay in town if the evening should happen on foot: the brick buildings of the silver era, the galleries on Hyman Avenue, the Wheeler Opera House. Our recommendation: the Hotel Jerome.
Stay in Snowmass Village for the largest of the four ski areas and for families who need short distances (recommendation: the Viceroy Snowmass).
For orientation: a free bus runs between Aspen and Snowmass in a good twenty minutes, and in summer a shuttle reaches the Maroon Bells in half an hour.
In Aspen the credit is a credit for the evening: in six of the nine addresses it applies expressly to food and drink.
The Sky Residences at W Aspen · Downtown AspenOn breakfast the Hotel Jerome leads with 45 US dollars a day, followed by the Little Nell with 42. At 40 US dollars each come the St. Regis Residence Club – there at the Velvet Buck, the Mountain Social and in-room dining – and the W Aspen and the Sky Residences, both at the restaurant 39 Degrees. At the MOLLIE and the St. Regis Aspen Resort it is 30.
At the Limelight and the Viceroy Snowmass the buffet breakfast for two is included instead.
For the evening: the restaurants around Hyman and Hopkins Avenue, plus the cabins up the mountain that you reach after dark by snowcat – an Aspen habit you find almost nowhere else.
The median is 668 € a night. The selection starts at 186 € at the MOLLIE Aspen and runs to 2,883 € at the St. Regis Residence Club – though that is the price of a residence with several bedrooms, not of a room.
Among the hotels, the Viceroy Snowmass starts at 282 €, the Limelight at 353 € and the W Aspen at 381 €; above them the St. Regis Aspen Resort at 668 €, the Little Nell at 767 € and the Hotel Jerome at 769 €.
Against the other mountain destinations: Zermatt sits at 442 €, Park City at 344 € and Denver at 224 €.
It costs least in late spring and in autumn, when the aspens turn gold, the trails are open and the music festival is over. Book early for the X Games in January, the weeks around New Year and the Food & Wine Classic days in June – those are the most sought-after nights of the year.
And whatever the date: you get the suitespot benefits in the quietest week of the year just as you do in the busiest.
What sets Aspen apart from other mountain towns is that it was a town first and a ski resort second – you can see it on every second facade.
Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comWorth seeing are the Wheeler Opera House of 1889, the Aspen Art Museum, the Maroon Bells with their mountain lake, the ghost town of Ashcroft in the Castle Creek Valley and – in summer – the Aspen Music Festival, which plays the town for eight weeks.
For a day trip: the Independence Pass road at 3,600 metres when it is open, or the valley down to Redstone with its old coke ovens.
Alongside breakfast, an upgrade where available and late check-out, six of the nine addresses add a credit of 100 US dollars for food and drink – the Hotel Jerome, the Little Nell (there outside room service), the Limelight, the St. Regis Aspen Resort, the W Aspen and the St. Regis Residence Club (there outside the Chef's Club).
A freely usable credit of 100 US dollars applies at the MOLLIE, the St. Regis Aspen Resort and the Viceroy Snowmass. At the Sky Residences at W Aspen it is 200 US dollars for food and drink from the two-bedroom residence and 300 from the three-bedroom. And from two nights a further credit is added at the St. Regis Residence Club and the Little Nell, depending on the category. We register your VIP status before you arrive.

The median is 668 € a night – above Zermatt (442 €), Park City (344 €) and Denver (224 €). The selection starts at 186 € and runs to 2,883 €; that highest figure, however, is for a residence with several bedrooms, not for a room.
The MOLLIE Aspen in town from 186 €, then the Viceroy Snowmass from 282 €, the Limelight Aspen from 353 € and the W Aspen from 381 €.
At the foot of Aspen Mountain for a day that starts at the gondola – our recommendation is The Little Nell, for us the first address in town. In town for evenings on foot among the brick buildings of the silver era (recommendation: Hotel Jerome). And in Snowmass Village for the largest of the four ski areas (recommendation: Viceroy Snowmass).
Because two of the nine addresses are not rooms but residences: the St. Regis Residence Club shares its address with the St. Regis Aspen Resort, and the Sky Residences share theirs with the W Aspen. Each pair is the same building – once as a hotel room from 668 € and 381 € respectively, once as an apartment with several bedrooms.
No. The Viceroy Snowmass stands in Snowmass Village, some twelve kilometres west – at the largest of the region's four ski mountains. A free bus runs between the two in a good twenty minutes.
Of 154 categories, 46 are suites. For the largest, our data lists 232 square metres at The Little Nell (Paepcke Suite), 222 at the Hotel Jerome for a Residence and 185 for a Luxury Penthotel; the Pfeifer Suite at the Little Nell also measures 185.
You earn points and status in 4 of the 9 addresses, across 2 programmes: Marriott Bonvoy at the St. Regis Aspen Resort, the W Aspen and the Sky Residences, and iPrefer at the MOLLIE. A credit of 100 US dollars for food and drink is added at six addresses, and a freely usable one at three.
No. In all nine addresses the suitespot benefits apply from the first night. Additional credits from two nights are available at the St. Regis Residence Club and The Little Nell, depending on the category.
