The Byblos Art Hotel Villa Amistà closes for the winter – from mid-November to the beginning of March. And it does not stand in Verona but some fifteen kilometres west, in the Valpolicella, among the vineyards. If you are asking about January, or want to stand at the Arena in the evening on foot, the city serves you better; if you come in May and have a car, you get the largest garden of the selection.

Where to stay in Verona: old town, arena or Valpolicella
Verona’s old town sits inside a loop of the Adige, and three of the five hotels stand within it – each at a different point.
