Completely redesigned, the Hotel Ancora Cortina d'Ampezzo on the Corso Italia has been welcoming guests since it reopened on July 8, 2025, just in time for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Vicky Charles, who spent many years designing for Soho House, refurnished every room and public space with her studio Charles & Co. The hotel, founded in 1826, was bought by Red Circle, the company of Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, and is run by Egnazia Ospitalità Italiana, the group behind Borgo Egnazia.
Ancora Cortina · Rooms & suitesBy day you sit on the terrace above the Corso Italia with views of the Dolomites, where the menu comes from consulting chef Andrea Ribaldone. In the evening you warm up by the fireplace in the Bar & Living, and at Club Brave you hand in your phone at the door.
