Across the water on the east bank, in quiet Wat Ket, sits the 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai at 579 €. In Nimmanhaemin – the quarter of cafés and concept stores west of the old town – stands the AMANOR Hotel Chiang Mai at 174 €.
And then it turns rural: the Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai at 176 € at the foot of Doi Suthep, the Raya Heritage Chiang Mai at 359 € north in Mae Rim, and the Veranda Chiang Mai High Resort at 98 € south in Hang Dong – the most affordable entry in this selection.
