There's plenty to discover at the InterContinental Phuket Resort in 2026. Since January, the Sipping Tiger speakeasy on the hillside has been mixing botanical cocktails on a zero-waste principle, and hom's fermentation-led tasting menu has been in the hands of Chef Marcelo since July 2026. In August 2026 GSTC certified the resort – a first for an InterContinental in Thailand.
Keemala Phuket · Mu Ban Jasmine KamalaThe resort itself reads like a book: Habita Architects designed it around the Traibhumikatha, the Buddhist cosmology of Heaven, the Human World and the Underwater World. Starting at the beach pool, you trace the journey of the Naga serpent king through a subterranean art tunnel and up to the Sawan Pavilion, which floats among lotus flowers; the sculptures are by Thai National Artist Prayad Pongdam.
The Keemala Phuket, opened in December 2015, tells an invented legend: according to the story, four clans made Phuket their home after being shipwrecked. Each clan has its own villa type – clay cottages, tents, tree houses and woven “bird's nests” – and the cuisine and spa pick up the story as well. Tatler counted it among the 100 best hotels in Asia Pacific in 2025.
The Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort was Hyatt's first resort on Phuket when it opened in January 2014. It steps up the hillside in terraces, so almost every balcony looks out to sea, and its restaurants have been reworked since the opening.

Andara Resort PhuketOn the cliff: At the Andara Resort Phuket, the resort's 40-metre infinity pool sits on the clifftop above the bay. Most suites have a pool of their own; in the villas the pools measure 18 to 20 metres, and in the Signature Villas as much as 25 metres.
Sea view or privacy: At the Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, a vast infinity pool with private cabanas stretches right above the sea, with a kids' pool alongside and, for Regency Club guests, a 25-metre pool of their own.
