Since 10 February 2026, you can stay at the Palazzo San Gottardo Lake Como Radisson Collection Hotel between Piazza Cavour and Piazza Volta, around 100 metres from the lakeside promenade and the boat landing. From outside you still see the 1926 palazzo with its rounded corners, stone cornices and geometric motifs; inside, a contemporary interior of Italian craftsmanship awaits. The hotel has 70 rooms and is the first Radisson Collection Hotel in Como. From here you set off on private lake tours with the historic boat company Tasell, whose landing stage is less than 100 metres away.

Palazzo Venezia Lago di Como tells of the time when Como grew rich on silk. The palazzo was built in 1870 on the reclaimed land of the former harbour on Piazza Cavour and first housed the silk company Schmidt & Lorenzen; Enrico Monti’s pastry shop occupied the ground floor. The neo-Gothic façade in Venetian style carries a clock from 1904. Today the 5-star hotel belongs to Villa d’Este La Collezione and is a Leading Hotels of the World member.
The Palazzo San Gottardo Lake Como Radisson Collection Hotel is a 1926 palazzo in early-20th-century style. A century after it was built, it was extensively restored, preserving the façade with its rounded corner volumes, stone cornices and geometric motifs.
