The biggest change has come to the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort. The former Grand Hotel Cristallo was rebuilt for around 20 million euros – rooms, public areas, interiors and exteriors – to plans by the Milan firm Architetture Sordina Torno Partners. On December 1, 2022, it opened as the first mountain resort of the Valtur brand.
Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort · Breuil-CerviniaToday you stay in rooms that were largely renovated between 2022 and 2024, and since 2025 the hotel has been part of the Lifestyle Collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. The most spacious options are the Suite Matterhorn at 75 m² and the Fabulous Suite at 130 m² with its own sauna.
At the Hotel Hermitage, the Neyroz family celebrated 50 years as hosts in 2025. For the most space, book one of the Master Suites of 70 to 80 m², with a fireplace and a terrace facing the Matterhorn.
All three hotels have a heated pool, and after a day on the glacier that is more than welcome.
