ME Marbella · Nueva Andalucía (Puerto Banús)With every booking through suitespot you receive a full package of suitespot benefits:The top of the market sits on the Golden Mile, the coastal strip between Marbella town and Puerto Banús: Puente Romano Marbella (510 €), the Marbella Club Hotel (420 €) and the Nobu Hotel Marbella (360 €), the latter within the Puente Romano resort itself. Further along the coast are El Fuerte Marbella (310 €), the Kimpton Los Monteros (320 €) and the Don Carlos Leisure Resort (280 €).
Inland and to the west, the picture changes: the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace (180 €) and The Westin La Quinta (250 €) sit among the golf courses above the coast, while La Fonda Heritage Hotel (185 €) is the only one of our houses in Marbella's old town. The Boho Club (220 €), ME Marbella (280 €) and the Gran Marbella Resort (280 €) complete the list.
Marbella was built as a resort rather than a city, which has a direct consequence for the rooms: almost every house here is low-rise and spread out, and standard categories are noticeably larger than in Madrid or Barcelona. Terraces are the rule, not the exception.
Nobu Hotel Marbella · San Pedro de AlcantaraThe widest choice by some distance is at the Marbella Club Hotel (420 €), with eight suite categories — Chiquita, La Concha, Junior, Garden, Garden Deluxe, Grand Beach, Principe Alfonso and Mediterranean. Several of these are garden bungalows rather than rooms in a main building, which is what makes them unusually generous.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comFour more houses offer five categories each, each with a different emphasis. Puente Romano Marbella (510 €) runs from Deluxe up to a Royal suite, with a dedicated Family category. The Nobu Hotel Marbella (360 €) has Junior, Plaza Studio, Plaza Deluxe and the Nobu Suite. The Kimpton Los Monteros (320 €) offers Studio and Studio Duplex categories alongside its Los Monteros and Marbella suites. And the Gran Marbella Resort (280 €) reaches from Garden and Enchanting up to a Royal Marbella suite.
If you are travelling as a family or as two couples, the categories to ask for are the Family Studio at the Kimpton Los Monteros, the Family suites at Puente Romano and the Anantara Villa Padierna, and the connecting categories at ME Marbella (280 €) and the Nobu — connecting rooms are limited in number everywhere on this coast and are worth requesting early.
On this coast, orientation matters more than category. A garden-view room in a beachfront house is often quieter and cooler in high summer than a sea-view room one category above, and the price difference between the two is usually significant. Tell us which you would rather have and we will note it with the hotel before you arrive.
Marbella stretches for some 25 kilometres along the coast, so the choice of area decides how much you will use a car.
Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Marbella · MarbellaThese four areas cover our entire selection.
The classic address, with beach clubs and the best-known houses on the coast: Puente Romano Marbella (510 €), the Marbella Club Hotel (420 €) and the Nobu Hotel Marbella (360 €), which sits inside the Puente Romano estate. The Boho Club (220 €) lies just inland of the same strip.
The marina, the nightlife and the golf valley behind it: ME Marbella (280 €) is the closest of our houses to the port. This is also where six of our seven private villas are located, in the residential streets above the marina.
The one genuinely urban option, and the quietest stretch of coast: La Fonda Heritage Hotel (185 €) occupies a townhouse on a square in the old quarter, a few minutes from the Plaza de los Naranjos. East of the centre are the El Fuerte Marbella (310 €), the Kimpton Los Monteros (320 €), the Gran Marbella Resort (280 €) and the Don Carlos Leisure Resort (280 €).
Inland and above the coast, greener and several degrees cooler in summer: the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace (180 €), our lowest entry rate here, and The Westin La Quinta (250 €). Note that both sit outside Marbella proper, in the neighbouring municipality of Benahavís — perfect if you are here for golf, less so if you want to walk to dinner.
If what you actually need is space rather than a large hotel room, Marbella offers something almost no other European destination in our portfolio does: seven private villas, managed under Mandarin Oriental and bookable through us.
Puente Romano Marbella · El VicarioThese are not suites. Each is an entire house with its own pool and grounds, and the rate covers the whole property rather than a room — which is why the figures look nothing like the hotel prices on this page. Villa Tuscany starts at around 4,700 €, Villa Mirage at 7,820 €, Villa Los Angeles at 8,660 €, Villa Los Verdiales at 10,700 €, Villa Paris at 11,000 €, Villa Azur at 14,340 € and Villa Celestial at 21,000 € per night.
Six of them are in Nueva Andalucía, in the residential grid above Puerto Banús. Villa Celestial, the largest, is in La Zagaleta in Benahavís, the gated estate in the hills west of Marbella.
For a family group or several couples travelling together, the arithmetic is often better than it first appears — a villa split between four or five couples can land close to a suite rate per couple, with a private pool and a kitchen. Our advisors will price both options side by side before you decide.
Across the 12 hotels, entry rates run from about 180 € at the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace to 510 € at Puente Romano Marbella, with a median near 280 €. The seven villas are quoted separately above, since a whole-property rate cannot be compared with a room rate.
Below 260 € you will find the Anantara Villa Padierna (180 €), La Fonda Heritage (210 €), the Boho Club (220 €) and The Westin La Quinta (250 €). The middle of the range is tightly packed: ME Marbella, the Gran Marbella Resort and the Don Carlos Leisure Resort all open around 280 €, with El Fuerte at 310 € and the Kimpton Los Monteros at 320 €.
On loyalty, the Leaders Club covers Puente Romano, the Marbella Club and the Anantara Villa Padierna; iPrefer covers the Boho Club, El Fuerte and the Don Carlos; Marriott Bonvoy applies at The Westin La Quinta, Meliá Rewards at ME Marbella, Relais & Châteaux at La Fonda and IHG Rewards at the Kimpton Los Monteros. The seven villas run under Fans of Mandarin Oriental. Two houses — the Nobu Hotel Marbella and the Gran Marbella Resort — carry no points programme in our rates.
One point worth stating plainly: none of our Marbella houses is all-inclusive. Half-board and full-board arrangements can be added at several of them, but that is a rate question rather than a property feature, and our advisors will confirm exactly what is covered before you book.
Golf is the reason a large share of our guests come to this coast, and it is also the thing most worth arranging in advance. The courses cluster in the golf valley behind Puerto Banús and around Benahavís, which is precisely where the Anantara Villa Padierna and The Westin La Quinta sit. Tee times in spring and autumn go weeks ahead.Personal luxury travel adviceOur travel advisors personally accompany your booking – 365 days a year, from the first offer to late check-out. Reach the suitespot VIP service via email or WhatsApp.Phone: +49 30 81452346 · hotel@suitespot.comThe beach clubs along the Golden Mile are the other standing request. Tables at the best-known ones are effectively unobtainable in July and August without a reservation made well in advance, and several give priority to hotel guests — which is one practical argument for staying on the strip itself.
On season: May, June, September and October are the best months here, with warm sea and manageable crowds. July and August are hot and very busy, and rates on the coast reflect that. Winter is mild and remarkably quiet, and it is when the golf hotels are at their most accessible — though some beach clubs close.
As a suitespot guest you travel with VIP status: we pass your preferences to the hotel before you arrive, from a garden-facing room to the occasion for your stay. Six of our twelve Marbella houses also include a hotel credit of up to 100 USD per stay.
suitespot rates are genuine direct rates: you keep earning regular points and elite nights in the hotel's loyalty program and retain your status benefits – on top of your suitespot benefits. These programs are represented in Marbella:
| Program | Hotels | Examples in Marbella |
|---|---|---|
| Fans of Mandarin Oriental | 7 hotels | Villa Celestial Marbella, Villa Los Verdiales Marbella, Villa Paris Marbella … |
| I Prefer | 3 hotels | Don Carlos Leisure Resort Marbella, Boho Club Hotel Marbella, El Fuerte Marbella |
| Leaders Club | 3 hotels | Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Marbella, Puente Romano Marbella, Marbella Club Hotel |
| Marriott Bonvoy | 1 hotel | The Westin La Quinta |
| Melia Rewards | 1 hotel | ME Marbella |
| Relais & Châteaux | 1 hotel | La Fonda Heritage Hotel Marbella |
Entry rates across our 12 Marbella hotels currently run from about 180 € a night at the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace to 510 € at Puente Romano Marbella, with a median around 280 €. Our seven private villas are quoted separately, from roughly 4,700 € to 21,000 € per night — those are whole-property rates covering an entire house with its own pool, not room rates.
The Marbella Club Hotel (420 €) has the widest choice with eight suite categories, several of them garden bungalows rather than rooms in a main building. Puente Romano (510 €), the Nobu Hotel Marbella (360 €), the Kimpton Los Monteros (320 €) and the Gran Marbella Resort (280 €) each offer five categories, with the Kimpton adding Studio and Studio Duplex layouts. For genuinely large space, though, the honest answer is one of our seven private villas — an entire house rather than a suite.
No. None of our twelve Marbella houses is all-inclusive, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Several can add half-board or full-board arrangements to a booking, but that is a matter of the rate rather than a feature of the property. Tell our advisors how you would like meals handled and they will confirm in writing what each hotel can cover before you book.
Yes. Our bookings run through the hotels' official partner rates, so you continue to earn points and nights, and your status benefits apply as usual. In Marbella the Leaders Club covers three houses, iPrefer three, and Marriott Bonvoy, Meliá Rewards, Relais & Châteaux and IHG Rewards one each; the seven villas run under Fans of Mandarin Oriental. Two hotels carry no points programme, but the suitespot benefits still apply in full.
The Golden Mile between the town and Puerto Banús is the classic choice, with the beach clubs and the best-known houses. Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía suit the marina and nightlife. The old town is the only genuinely walkable option — La Fonda Heritage is our single house there. And Benahavís, inland among the golf courses, is greener and cooler but needs a car. Bear in mind the coast runs some 25 kilometres, so the distances are real.
The Anantara Villa Padierna Palace (180 €) and The Westin La Quinta (250 €) sit directly among the courses in the hills behind the coast, in the municipality of Benahavís. Both are the practical choice if golf is the point of the trip. If you would rather be on the beach and drive up to play, the Golden Mile houses are twenty minutes away. Tee times in spring and autumn book up weeks in advance, and our advisors arrange them alongside the room.
It depends on the size of your party. A villa rate covers the entire property — house, pool and grounds — so for a family group or several couples travelling together, the per-couple cost can come close to a suite rate while adding a private pool and a kitchen. For two people it rarely makes sense. Villa Tuscany is the most accessible at around 4,700 € a night and Villa Celestial in La Zagaleta the largest at 21,000 €. We will price both options side by side.
May, June, September and October are the strongest months: warm sea, comfortable temperatures and far fewer people than midsummer. July and August are hot and very busy, and coastal rates reflect it. Winter is mild, exceptionally quiet and the most affordable time at the golf hotels inland, though some beach clubs close for the season.
