The newest openings are on the east coast, in the bay of Cala Llonga. In August 2023, two sister hotels welcomed their first guests in the former Cala Llonga Resort: the Mondrian Ibiza, the first Mondrian in Spain, with artworks created especially for the hotel, and next door the larger Hyde Ibiza, with DJs, vinyl nights and flamenco. The two share their restaurants, among them the Japanese Niko al fresco on the Sun & Moon terrace.
Mondrian Ibiza · Cala LlongaIn Ibiza Town, The Standard Ibiza opened in April 2022 on Plaça de Vara de Rey, the brand’s first hotel in Spain, decorated in the flower-power style of the 1960s. That August, Casa Privada followed one block away, with 14 rooms, its own rooftop pool, a bar and a yoga studio.
In the north, the Six Senses Ibiza has welcomed guests since July 2021, spread over eight hectares on Xarraca Bay, with suites in the cliffs and an organic farm on an estate with a 400-year-old olive mill. The same year, two classics were reinvented: La Torre del Canónigo Ibiza in Dalt Vila reopened in April 2021, extended to include the former Hotel El Corsario and Casa Puget, and the Hotel Riomar Ibiza in Santa Eulària returned in summer 2021 with completely redesigned rooms.

In the heart of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, you stay at La Torre del Canónigo Ibiza in three historic buildings next to the cathedral: a watchtower with secret passages, the former Hotel El Corsario in a 10th-century house, and Casa Puget, a 16th-century Jesuit monastery.
La Torre del Canónigo Ibiza · Dalt VilaEl Corsario first drew pirates, later the bohemian crowd; Grace Kelly, Salvador Dalí and Pink Floyd all stayed here. In 2020, La Torre del Canónigo Ibiza took over the neighboring house and Casa Puget, Lázaro Rosa-Violán redesigned the interiors, and in 2025 the hotel celebrated its 25th anniversary.
